Meet Ava

Early in her career, Ava impressively rose to the Top 2% of San Francisco Real Estate agents.  Ava Chang is unmatched when it comes negotiating and marketing for her clients. Ava draws heavily on her financial acumen honed first as a CPA with Deloitte and later as a Product Director at Visa Inc., the global payments leader. Her career demanded the merging of her expertise in finance, marketing and technology. Ava's clients now benefit from the presence of that skill set in all transactions. 

At the heart of Ava’s philosophy is a passion for helping clients achieve their real estate dreams and financial goals. Ava’s clients encompass first-time home buyers to high net-worth individuals to professional investment entities. Her geographic expertise includes San Francisco and Marin. This coverage enables her to execute on diverse client needs, life styles, and investment strategies. She has extensive knowledge in helping clients in Single Family, Condos, Tenancy-In-Common (TIC), Multi-unit properties and 1031 Exchanges. Additionally, she is well versed in the nuance of working with foreign buyers and sellers. Ava works closely with each client to navigate the major, complex, and sometimes emotional process of buying or selling a home. 

When not busy helping clients fulfill their real estate dreams, Ava enjoys traveling with her family. She’s been to 35 countries and countless cities around the world. She also loves spending time in nature: hiking, skiing, running, and has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She and her husband, Albert Chang, former professional tour tennis player (ATP#140), actively support and participate in several local, national, and international networks: The Olympic Club, California Tennis Club, The Club at Harbor Point, Harvard Alumni, Harvard Varsity, and Finance Cup.

Giving back is part of the fabric of Ava’s life. She is always fascinated by the amazing programs out there to help those in need. Ava actively supports local organizations furthering her commitment to making the Bay Area one of the best places to live in the world. Since the beginning, Ava has committed a portion of her income each year to a variety of local organizations.
